Nigerian actress, Bukky Lawal, has taken to social media to remember her late mother who passed away 10 years ago.
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress shared a throwback photo of herself and her late mother and wrote an emotional tribute to her.
She wrote, ” 10 years just like yesterday Maami , you departed from this sinful world. What can I compare my (our) mother(s)with?
The only vineyard that doesn’t let the child go hungry.My mother is today, that covers her child with cloth everyday. Everyday she is getting ready for the future. My mother didn’t let me forget that today will become yesterday. My mother made me to remember that tomorrow must eventually become today. My mother is the velvet that covered me during cold weather. She is d umbrella that protect me from the sun. If not for the words of my mother I would have been ruined. A child who lives under my mother’s roof bt is nt wise he/She can never again.
I love you so much Màami and I will continue loving you.
Your memory will never fade away in me.
May your soul continue resting in perfect peace Maami .
