Minister of works Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) is a subject of discussion this morning after posting on his official twitter account that he commissioned a newly completed 6KM road network in Ilara-Mokin, Akure, Ondo State. The project which was privately funded by son of the soil and the Chairman, Toyota Nigeria Ltd. and Elizade Nigeria Ltd, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo got a lot of Nigerians reacting.
In outrage, Nigerians reacted swiftly to the statement made on Fashola’s official Twitter page, asking themselves if the current administration has hit it’s lowest ebb or it was misinformation by the PR team of the Minister. Fashola is yet to debunk the claims as at time of filing this report. Read his statement below:
Two weeks ago I visited Ondo State for the official commissioning of the 6KM road network in Ilara-Mokin, Akure, Ondo State. This marks another completed project in the road sector.
