Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi said he will choose human rights over his family and the Yoruba movie industry.
Yomi Fabiyi made this know in an Instagram live chat after many Nigerians including his colleagues blast him after he releases the movie titled Oko Iyabo:
In the live chat, he said:
How can people isolate a scene and moviemakers are jumping to conclusions, I will choose human rights over my industry, even my family because if I have my industry and my family and I don’t have human rights, I will still be treated like a criminal, like a nonentity, and like an animal.
That is why another human being will prefer i should sit on a bare floor being a suspect for a month, without considering if I will be innocent eventually.
