A police officer attached to a branch of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) in Oye-Ekiti has been reportedly shot dead in a robbery attack on Thursday.
According to reports by PREMIUM TIMES, the robbery took place in broad daylight, 3pm to be precise. The robbers reportedly killed an unidentified police officer attached to the bank and carted away money from the bank’s vault and stole from the customers.
A 5 year-old girl on her way back from school was also reportedly killed by the robbers.
